Alright folks, you asked for it, so here it is. Get ready for Tiffany's opinion! Ha...I tend to rant and rave a just a litte. Especially about Michael's singing. He called me from Isis's phone yesterday and left me a lovely message singing a song...which was later discovered to be Johnny Cooper's "Texas To You." I'm thinking Michael should set up his own in-store show to showcase his talent. So today is Singles Awareness Day, they love me! Every mushy love song in the history of mushy love songs is being played on the radio, so I popped in the Reckless Kelly "The Day" album.....good love sucks and it can kiss my ass music. (not to mention its still my fav. reckless album!). Ah, I have some new releases I'm really looking forward to: Hayes Carll Trouble In Mind, Austin Collins Roses Are Black, Paul Thorn Long Way From Tupelo, Bart Crow Desperate Hearts, and of course as Michael stated...the new Mike McClure. Also the Reckless Kelly, MMC, Cross, and RRB stuff in the near future. I have that gut feeling that this year is going to be a great year in Texas Music. I'm not sure what it is...the word is spreading and those people who deserve the recognition for making amazing, true music are finally getting noticed. This makes me so happy to be a part of this company and this music business. On another note, Pat Green is playing down the road at Gruene Hall tonight...heard it has been sold out for quite some time now, which is exactly why I'm not going ( Because I'm broke haha).
OH, if you want "The Day" by RK...I suggest you come see me in Gruene, there's only a few copies left!!
